Jeugdlab – Het Experiment is the result of a cooperation between children’s playground Jeugdland, students from Amsterdam University College and NGO Its Academy. The initiative’s aim is to encourage children aged 5-14 to develop an enthusiasm for sciences, sports, arts and languages by providing them with fun and engaging activities that have an educational twist. Envisioned by a small group of AUC students in 2013, they’ve managed to create a successful social hub that bridges the research institutes of Science Park with the local community while sharing their fascination for learning in the process.
