Five Amsterdam University College (AUC)students receive a Beta Beurs Scholarship. The Beta Beurs is a financial scholarship to excellent bachelor students aimed at encouraging interdisciplinary capstone research at the Science Faculty of the University of Amsterdam. The scholarship will enable students to carry out research requiring resources which otherwise might be impossible to get hands on.

The following students have received a beta beurs:

  • Simon Hadlich
  • Sari Nijssen
  • Lukas Snoek
  • Jochem Jansen
  • Luc Draisma

The Beta Beurs Scholarschip is an initiative of the Center for Creation, Content and Technology. The CCCT is a collaboration between institutes and groups of several faculties of the University of Amsterdam and the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, which work together on a project basis in the field of content and technology. The aim is to combine the strengths of these groups in research and education in a unique multi-disciplinary setting, and preferably in collaboration with the (creative) industries in and around Amsterdam.
