Abstract

Alma Mustafić will discuss the responsibility of various actors for the genocide that occurred in Srebrenica in 1995.

Speaker

Alma Mustafić is a researcher and lecturer at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Her expertise is in education, community development and human rights education, but her heart belongs to Srebrenica education and research. In 1995, she survived the genocide in Srebrenica, but her father (who worked for Dutchbat, UN peacekeepers) and many other family members did not survive. She held the Dutch state responsible for the death of her father and the Netherlands Supreme Court ruled in her favour in 2013.
