Abstract

In this lecture, Lyle Muns will discuss the importance of empowerment and self-organisation of marginalised groups and young people in society from his personal and professional experience. He will also discuss the perceived Dutch national identity on issues of tolerance regarding sexuality and the position of young people versus the actual position of both marginalised groups and young people. 

Speaker

Lyle Muns is the chairperson of the national student union (LSVb) and a political science student at the University of Amsterdam. He is a former sex worker and cofounder of the Dutch union for sex workers (PROUD).
