During an Open Day, you can learn all about the AUC academic programme through diverse information sessions, tours of the academic building and student residences, and speaking directly to staff and students.

You can choose from three arrival times: 10:00, 11:00 or 12:00.

  • 10:00 entry: focus on students from the Dutch education system (VWO).
  • 11:00 entry: Highlights international student perspectives.
  • 12:00 entry: A flexible, drop-in option with fewer plenary sessions.

All sessions will be in English, and after entering, you're welcome to stay as long as you like.

Open Day activities and programme

The AUC Open Day offers an engaging programme that gives visitors a complete impression of the student experience on campus.

  • Welcome & introduction: Learn about the AUC curriculum, academic framework and what Liberal Arts and Sciences means before moving on to sample lectures and Q&As with students and lecturers.
  • Academic experience: Meet faculty from the Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences, explore majors and specialisations, and let a student ambassador walk you through how study plans are made.
  • Life outside the classroom: Discover internships, community projects and study abroad options open to you at AUC.
  • Housing: Tour the student residences to see where all AUC students live (guaranteed!).
  • Questions? Students and staff will be available throughout the day to help.

If you can't make the Open Day on 1 November, no worries! You'll be able to join the AUC Online Open Day from 15.00 to 17.15 (CEST) on 5 November via Zoom. You can find more details and how to sign up via the link below.
