AUC’s curriculum includes a range of courses that support students who plan to pursue postgraduate studies in the health and life sciences. Together with Amsterdam University Medical Centers (Amsterdam UMC; formerly AMC and VUmc), AUC has developed a recommended set of courses for students aiming to enter a Dutch medical pre-master programme (zij-instroom) after graduation.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive: AUC offers many additional courses that may be relevant for a medical pre-master's. Moreover, while the listed courses provide strong preparation, students do not need to have completed the exact courses to be eligible for the medical pre-master programmes.

Students who have built a curriculum with sufficient (bio)medical coursework at AUC can be eligible for the medical pre-master programmes at either VUmc or AMC. Admission to these programmes is selective and competitive, so simply meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
Other universities in the Netherlands also offer medical pre-master programmes that AUC alumni have attended. These programmes typically involve a half-year or full year of additional study. All of these programmes are selective and competitive, meaning that while there is no guarantee to be accepted, the courses in AUC's pre-medtrack will help prepare students for the selection procedures and exams.
