Casey is South African and has studied in London and the Netherlands, and graduated from AUC in July 2023. At AUC, she focused on the Literature and History tracks and wrote her Capstone on eco-critical thought in postcolonial texts, focusing on Olive Schreiner’s The Story of an African Farm (1883). At AUC, she was head Humanities editor on InPrint, AUC’s academic journal, and worked as a student representative for the Board of Studies.
