McAssey, Michael (Ph.D.)

Michael McAssey teaches Statistics for Sciences, Basic Research Methods and Statistics, Advanced Research Methods and Statistics, and Calculus at AUC, where he also serves as a tutor. He earned his Ph.D. in statistics at the University of California, Davis, after completing a M.A. in mathematics at San Francisco State University. Prior to that, he taught mathematics at the secondary school level in San Francisco for a number of years. He is interested in developing computational methods for statistical applications in the sciences, and mathematics education at all levels.
