On 1 July, the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2014 took place in the Aula of the VU University Amsterdam.
The opening speech and introduction was given by the Dean of AUC, Prof. Dr. Marijk van der Wende. It was followed by the Commencement Address given by Prof. Dr. Mr. Jaap Winter, President of VU University Amsterdam and Chair of the Board of the AUC Scholarship Fund.
Robin de Vogel (President, AUCAA) and Ruben Treurniet (AUC alumnus) delivered a speech on behalf of the AUC Alumni Association.
This year’s Valedictorian speech was given by Pilar Puig Cortada.
The graduating students were further addressed by their tutors. Musical interludes were performed by AUC students.
