Use Amsterdam University College's online application form in Embark to apply for admission.
The link to the late application form will be accessible on this page from 1 April 2024 to 1 May 2024. Prospective students can already check the eligibility criteria and review the application guidelines to prepare the necessary documents for their application.
If you are interested in submitting a late application and meet the eligibility criteria, you can sign up to receive a reminder when the application form opens using the link below.
The application guidelines for those applying for the late application deadline (1 May 2024) to start at AUC in September 2024 are available below.
Prospective students are eligible to submit a late application to start at AUC in September 2024 if they meet all of the following criteria:
Are applying as a Sciences or Humanities major
Are a national or permanent resident of (and have a passport and/or permanent residence permit from) an EU/EEA country and do not need to apply for an entry visa or residence permit
Meet AUC’s admissions requirements (be sure to check the maths requirements per major)
You have not previously applied to start at AUC in September 2024 for the early-bird or regular application deadlines
Please note that AUC will not be accepting late applications for the Social Sciences major, and due to important immigration deadlines for obtaining entry and/or residence permits to start your studies on time, students without an EU/EEA nationality (and those who are not already in possession of a permanent residence permit from an EU/EEA country) cannot be considered for the late application deadline.
Application form open from 1 April to 1 May 2024
The late application form will be open via the online portal Embark from Monday 1 April 2024 to 1 May 2024. Please note that all late applicants will need to submit their complete application before 1 May 2024, 23:59 (Central European Summer Time, CEST) to be considered for a September 2024 start.
All recommendations must be received by 8 May 2024
Ideally, all recommendations should also be received prior to 1 May 2024, but recommenders will have until 8 May 2024 (23:59, CEST) at the latest to submit their recommendations for late applicants. If recommendations are not received by this date, the application will be considered incomplete.
After the late application deadline has passed (1 May 2024), our Admissions Office will begin the review process, and you can expect to hear a decision on admission in the first full week of June (3-7 June 2024).
NB: If you want to apply for an exchange or study abroad period at AUC, different procedures apply and you should contact the Study Abroad Office at your home institution. Please do not use our online application form, as this is only for applicants for the full three-year AUC degree programme. You can also view the information for exchange students.
