Casper Olaf Smulders is a Lecturer and Tutor at AUC, where he teaches the theme course Information, Communication, and Cognition, and The Empathic Brain course.
An alumnus of AUC, he came back after having done research in the US, Finland and at the University of Amsterdam. He holds a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Amsterdam and is currently working on PhD research at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research and teaching interests mostly lie in (the intersection of) cognitive neuroscience, education, bias and emotion regulation.
