Michael McAssey teaches Statistics for Sciences, Basic Research Methods and Statistics, Advanced Research Methods and Statistics, and Calculus at AUC, where he also serves as a tutor.
He earned his Ph.D. in statistics at the University of California, Davis, after completing an M.A. in mathematics at San Francisco State University. Prior to that, he taught mathematics at the secondary school level in San Francisco for a number of years. He is interested in developing computational methods for statistical applications in the sciences, and mathematics education at all levels.
