Wouter Kager teaches the academic core course 'Logic, Information flow and Argumentation' at AUC.

He is Assistant Professor in Probability at the Department of Mathematics of VU Amsterdam. He obtained an MSc in Theoretical Physics (cum laude) and an MA in Philosophy of a Specific Science, specializing in Logic, from the University of Amsterdam in 2001. Since then, his attention has shifted more towards Mathematics. He obtained his PhD in Mathematical Physics from the University of Amsterdam in 2006, and then secured a Postdoctoral Fellowship at EURANDOM. His current research at VU University is centered around Probability Theory and its applications, with a focus on random spatial models.
