In the face of the coronavirus outbreak, Amsterdam University College continues to provide students with the best possible (digital) learning environment to ensure that current students can continue their education.

The measures taken by the Dutch government to limit the further spreading of the coronavirus have had an impact for both students and staff. AUC staff members have been working hard in order to ensure that current students could continue their education online and that the next generation of AUC students can look forward to starting at AUC without a delay.

AUC operationally functions under UvA

AUC is a joint programme of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) and the University of Amsterdam (UvA), but its operational management, including crisis management, runs through the auspices of the UvA. AUC is therefore closely following the UvA with regard to measures related to the new coronavirus. The UvA, in turn, is closely following the measures and (travel) recommendations of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Public Health Service of Amsterdam (GGD).
