After consulting with experts the UvA has regretfully had to decide that the Bachelor’s Day scheduled for this Saturday, 14 March cannot go ahead, to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus. The most important reason is the large number of visitors from other parts of the country and from abroad.
|Date||14 March 2020|
You can find a full statement about the cancellation on the UvA Bachelor's Day webpage. For more information on the University of Amsterdam's (and by extension AUC's) response to the recent Coronavirus, please visit uva.nl/coronavirus.
Choosing a Bachelor's programme? Come and visit Amsterdam University College during the UvA Bachelor's Day for detailed information about our Liberal Arts and Sciences programme and general information about studying at AUC and the UvA. Amsterdam University College is a joint initiative of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). This means that AUC also participates in the Bachelor Days of the UvA and the VU.
During the UvA Bachelor's Day, the AUC academic building plays host to a variety of hour-long presentations from different academic disciplines, including four presentations specifically on AUC's Liberal Arts and Sciences programme. In the presentation (held entirely in English), you can learn more about the admissions requirements, academic programme, unique study options at AUC and hear first-hand about student life and extracurricular activities.
The UvA Bachelor's Day is not only a great chance to learn more about AUC, but also to meet current AUC students, see the campus and hear directly about the curriculum from one of the Heads of Studies.
Follow the link below to register for the AUC sessions (Liberal Arts and Sciences) via the University of Amsterdam's website. Please note that registration typically opens about one month before the date of the Bachelor's Day.
