On a regular basis AUC organises small-scale seminars by inviting interesting guest speakers "who are in town" for presentations and debates with members of the academic community. The seminars are organised with AUC students, as part of their extra-curricular activities. They aim to connect debates in science and society, focusing on "the big questions".
On 16 January 2014, AUC celebrated a 100th Who's in Town seminar with a lecture by Robbert Dijkgraaf. A complete overview of the hundred seminars which took place between 6 November 2009 and 16 January 2014 is now brought together in Who’s in Town @ 100: The Collection.
