Bremer, Ton van den
Ton van den Bremer teaches Environmental Economics at AUC. He is also a research associate at the Spatial Economics Department at VU University Amsterdam and the Oxford Centre for the Analysis of Resource Rich Economies (OxCarre) in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford. Ton's research in economics focusses on the role of resource price and climate uncertainty in economic models for optimal policy including climate policy and optimal design of resource sovereign wealth funds. Ton was previously a DPhil student in fluid mechanics at the University of Oxford, where his thesis examines mean flows induced by gravity waves in geophysical applications (thesis to be defended) and a College Lecturer at Keble College. He holds an MEng in Engineering from Imperial College London (2009) and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford (2011).
