Dibazar, Pedram (Dr.)
Pedram Dibazar is a lecturer at AUC (since September 2015) and a tutor (since November 2016). As a lecturer at AUC, he is currently involved in teaching Introduction to Cities and Cultures, Digital Anthropology and the upcoming course Culture Lab. Pedram holds a PhD in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Amsterdam (2016) and a post-graduate diploma in Design-based Research from the Berlage Institute (2010). He was a member of the ASCA Cities Project from 2010 to 2016. Pedram is working on two book projects at the moment: a co-edited volume (together with Judith Naeff) on the intersections of visual culture and urban space, “Visualizing the Street”; and a monograph on the contemporary urban culture in Iran, “Non-visibility and the Politics of Everyday Presence”.
