Since receiving her MA (cum laude) at the University Amsterdam, her research has also investigated and reconfigured moving image heritage and the archive within experimental and expanded modes of cinema in praxis and theory; which include interactive, mobile and location-based storytelling. Alongside her own artistic research practice, she teaches courses in media and communication at Webster University, Leiden, as well as leading thematic modules in artistic research at Piet Zwart Institute for the Masters in Media Design and Lens-Based/Networked Media. Recent and forthcoming publications include, In, Around and About Filmadaran (aka Armenian National Cinematheque): In No Particular Order in, “Archives of Disobedience: Changing Tactics of Visual Culture in Eastern Europe” (Estonian Academy of Arts Press, 2016) and Skip Intro? Short Video Intros as a Reflexive Threshold in the Interactive Documentary in “Compact Cinematics: The Moving Image in the Age of Bit-Sized Media” (Bloomsbury, 2017).
