Federico Camia teaches Calculus at AUC. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Bologna and his M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from New York University. He subsequently moved to ETH in Zurich and to the Eindhoven University of Technology with a Marie Curie Research Fellowship, before joining the Department of Mathematics of the VU University Amsterdam, where he teaches bachelor and master level courses. His research lies at the interface between probability theory and statistical physics and focuses primarily on the study of random spatial systems with a large number of components. He also teaches mathematics and physics courses at the New York University campus in Abu Dhabi.
