The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth (as if!)

15Nov2016 18:00 - 19:00

Warning: this session is not suitable for children, those with a fragile disposition and those who know they are always right. As we spend more time on the planet, we learn more and more “truths” around our personal world. The question is – when does our understanding move from sense to common sense to good sense or even nonsense? Is everything we (and everyone else) hold to be true, in fact, true? And how do we check? This session will be very participative: leave behind notebooks and pens, but bring your voice, your prejudices and beliefs. Expect to be challenged, amused and bashed about a bit!

Speaker: Gerald Levy was trained in psychotherapy at the Tavistock Institute in London and holds an MA from Lancaster University, M.Phil. from Liverpool JMU and a PhD from the Revans Centre in Manchester.  He was visiting Professor in Nice Business School (France) and Amman University (Jordan) and has published around 12 articles and book chapters.  His professional interests include Strategy, Aviation Safety and “Top Team failures”.
