AUC Capstone Research Seminar 2017
The 2017 edition the AUC Capstone Research Seminar will take place on Thursday, 29 June, in the AUC Common Room. AUC students, staff and other members of the community are invited to attend the presentation rounds of some of the best students' Bachelor's theses.
Presenting student research
The Capstone Research Seminar is an annual event during which third-year AUC students showcase their capstone projects (Bachelor's theses). The capstone project is the culmination of students' time at AUC where they are encouraged to conduct independent research within their unique specialisation.
Those students who have theses that have been designated with distinction are then invited to host a presentation round where they discuss their research topic, methods, analyses and conclusions with the audience. Panels of experts from both academia and professional sectors are also invited to react to these presentations and question the students.
After the presentations have attended, attendees are invited to continue the discussion with the presenters during a reception.
