Applications for AUC

Application deadline

Although the regular deadline has now passed, late applications for an Autumn 2012 start are welcome until 1 April 2012, and will be processed in order of submission/completion.

You can also apply now for a February 2013 or September 2013 start.

Checklist for your application

You can log in to your application as often as you like in our online application system, and you can complete it in stages if you wish. But the following questions may help you to prepare the information and documents that you need to include:

• Have you downloaded and read the Application Guidelines?
• Have you studied the information about the AUC curriculum on this website, and decided what your prospective major is going to be?
• Have you got all the information ready on your educational background (names of schools, and when you attended)?
• Have you written your personal statement (letter of motivation)?
• Have you got scans/digital versions of relevant documents, such as diplomas, school reports, and of your passport?
• Have you got a recent digital passport-style photo of yourself?
• Have you decided whether or not you are going to write an application essay?
• Have you got a credit card ready to make the application fee payment (EUR 50), or prepared the bank transfer (or know that you will apply for a fee waiver because of very low income)?
• Have you decided whom to ask for recommendations, and informed them that they will be invited to complete an online recommendation form?
• Are you going to apply for an AUC scholarship? (See information below on financial support.)
• Are you going to submit a transfer of credit request form? (See information below on transfer of credit.)

Financial support

If you will need financial help in order to study at AUC, please check the information on our website (see link below). We would like to draw your attention in particular to the AUC Scholarship Fund, see link below.

Transfer of credit

If you are already studying at another university and wish to transfer to AUC, please complete the online application form and all the admissions procedures just like a new student. If you wish to request transfer of credit for the studies you have already done or are currently completing, you must send us a completed transfer of credit request form and all accompanying documentation (see link below).

Exchange students

If you want to apply for an exchange or study abroad period at AUC, different procedures apply. Please contact the Study Abroad Office at your institution. Do not use our online application form: that is only for applicants to the full three-year AUC programme! See also link below.
