It is at the heart of Amsterdam’s multicultural society, inspired by diversity and values differences between people. Outstanding students are a major driving force behind the Amsterdam knowledge economy. Rabobank Amsterdam was therefore delighted with the initiative to set up Amsterdam University College.
The bank is a contributor to the AUC Scholarship Fund, thus offering top students from the Netherlands and all over the world the unique opportunity to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Amsterdam.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines was founded in 1919, making it the world's oldest airline still operating under its original name. In 2004, Air France and KLM merged to form AIR FRANCE KLM. The merger produced one of the leading European air transport groups, based on two powerful brand names and hubs — Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The two airlines collaborate on three core activities while maintaining their own identity: passenger transport, cargo transport and aircraft maintenance.
KLM serves approximately 150 destinations using a modern fleet and employs 33,000 people around the world. KLM offers reliable operations and customer-oriented products resulting from its policy of sustainable innovation. KLM is a member of SkyTeam, the global airline alliance with 16 members providing access to an extensive global network with daily flights to more than 900 destinations.
Together with their partners Delta and Alitalia, Air France and KLM operate the biggest transatlantic joint venture world-wide with approximately 260 daily trans-Atlantic flights. The joint venture provides customers with the benefits of a vast route network, structured around seven main hubs: Amsterdam, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York-JFK, Paris-CDG and Rome Fiumicino, together with Cincinnati, Lyon, Milan, Memphis and Salt Lake City.
KLM is sponsoring the AUC Scholarship Fund because of our commitment to broader society. The international orientation of AUC is a great fit with KLM's own international focus via its network connecting destinations worldwide.

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek
De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek provides its clients with top quality legal services in corporate transactions, litigation and compliance issues. Ever since the firm was founded in 1871, we have also focused on developing outstanding lawyers straight out of university through an intensive "lifelong" training and development programme, focusing on legal, commercial and social skills. Our mission is to stand beside our clients in their domestic as well as international matters. We do this from our offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, London, New York, Shanghai and Singapore and when needed work together with law firms around the world within our international network, all top tier firms and market leaders in their home jurisdiction. Universal experience is not only essential, it expands our landscape.
Working with our clients all around the world on multi-jurisdictional matters, we offer our global expertise, one of unique range and texture. Talent nourishes talent, allowing us to develop innovative solutions to complex cross-border projects, combining outstanding efficacy with practical know-how and the best legal advice. We believe that excellent legal work cannot happen without passion, intelligence and commitment. We believe that this is best achieved across jurisdictions, for any project, anywhere, with a diverse team to handle our clients’ national and international matters. We support the AUC Scholarship Fund because we truly believe that lawyers facing today's problems will benefit from a broader oriented education than a strictly legal one. Therefore, we believe that students holding a bachelor's degree in subjects other than law should be admitted as qualified lawyers after having followed a law track in their bachelor's programme and after having obtained a master's of law degree. Together with AUC we can achieve this ambition.
