Managing Director and Admissions Officer

Dr. Belinda Stratton is Managing Director and Admissions Officer.  

Belinda Stratton obtained her BSc (Honours) and PhD in Chemistry at the University of East Anglia in the UK, with a study abroad period at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After her studies she worked in an editorial department of the scientific publishing company Pergamon Press, before moving to the Netherlands and starting work at the European Association for International Education (EAIE) in 1993. She was the EAIE's Publications and Information Manager when she was recruited to the AUC team at the end of 2007.

Coordinator Marketing, Communication and Internationalisation

Drs. Mariette Diderich is Coordinator Marketing, Communication and Internationalisation.

Mariette Diderich obtained her BA (Honours) in European Studies at the University of Hull, and her MA in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam, with study abroad periods in Spain (Universidad de Oviedo) and Mexico (internship at a Mexican NGO). After her studies she worked at Nuffic (Netherlands organization for international cooperation in higher education), the National Unesco Commission and the Fulbright Center, Amsterdam. From 2000 to 2008 she was a Policy Advisor for International Relations at the University of Amsterdam (Academic Affairs), before she joined the AUC team in January 2008.

Registrar and Financial Officer

Simone Glover is Registrar and Financial Officer.

Having worked in both the private and public sector, Simone Glover has acquired broad administrative experience. Her first step in the field of education was at the International Office of Amsterdam Business School where she was employed prior to joining the AUC team. She is completely bilingual due to her American-Dutch background. While working she followed a part-time bachelor degree programme, International Business and Management Studies. She is currently working on her dissertation and hopes to graduate in February 2010.

Office Manager

Gillian Luisman is Office Manager and also Secretary to Prof. Dr. Marijk van der Wende.

From 2000 till the beginning of 2008 she worked as a secretary at the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente in Enschede.

Bob Kardolus copyright Helena Sokol

Management Assistant

Bob Kardolus is Management Assistant.

With a varied professional background in Human Resources, immigration and relocation, administration, translating and interpreting (Japanese-English-Dutch), language training and clog dancing, Bob has always worked with a combination of languages, legislation, procedures, communication and practical matters.   Previously, he has worked at the Japanese School of Amsterdam and Kyocera Mita Europe, among others. He joined AUC in January 2010 and is in charge of personnel administration, as well as providing support in admissions.
